The Bones We Leave
The offers are usually around $100,000. Sometimes in cash. Many Dove Springs residents think this might be a pretty good deal on their homes, but Erik Vega is asking his old friends and neighbors to reconsider. As a realtor, Vega now has a window into the world of Austin real estate-and how much the homes are really worth. He’s making sure his neighbors know too. Visit decibelatx.org to see more

“There Needs To Be Some Changes”: Austinites Split On HOME Phase 2
Просмотров 178Месяц назад
Everyone agrees housing is too expensive, but there’s lots of disagreement on how to fix it . Last week, the Austin City Council passed HOME Phase 2, a new policy that decreases the minimum residential lot size from 5,750 square feet to 1800 square feet. Proponents believe the measure will increase density and lower housing costs. But some residents fear they’ll be the ones to pay the price. #a...

The Camino Real de los Tejas is a trail that stretches back to the first residents of the state, and it's still directing the paths Texans take today. ‘The Status Quo Is Just Not Sufficient’: Austinites On HOME And Affordability
Просмотров 1336 месяцев назад
The HOME initiative passed last week by Austin City Council will allow up to three homes to be built on single family lots, aiming to increase affordable housing. Disagree....cat litter has completely transformed my garden from sand where just grass grew and now I have a mini forest with thousands of insects and many of the indigenous plants are now thriving and flowering and reproducing in my garden....its how and when to use it thats important and you need to mix it with garden soil not just throw it on. CAT litter on clay soil however will be disasterous.
